Job Description

Psychotherapist Life Improvement Program 900 North Robert Avenue, Arcadia, FL 34266 We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Program Therapist (LMHC or LCSW) to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care to clients through assessments, individualized treatment planning, and both individual and group therapy sessions. The ideal candidate is a motivated clinician with experience in behavioral health and a strong commitment to client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Services:

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and program goals. Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices. Monitor and document client progress in accordance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and treatment strategies. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using the agency’s electronic health record (EHR) system. Collaborate with external providers, family members, and community resources as needed to support continuity of care.

Program Participation:

Contribute to a supportive, structured, and therapeutic IOP environment. Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and program development efforts. Support client engagement and retention through culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related behavioral health field. Active and unrestricted LMHC or LCSW license in the state of Florida. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an IOP, outpatient, or similar mental health setting. Experience conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use). Familiarity with CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-based modalities. Prior use of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
