JobDescription:

The Licensed Mental Health Clinician Team Lead servesas the primary team leader of the Community Support Team (CST). TheCommunity Support Team is a direct and indirect periodic service inwhich the team provides direct intervention and arranges,coordinates, and monitors services on behalf of the recipient. Thisservice is provided in any location. Community Support servicesalso include telephone time with the individual recipient andcollateral contact with the person who assists the recipient inmeeting his/her rehabilitation goals.

Job Type:

This role is based out of ourJacksonville, NC office and requires frequent travel to meet withclients in Carteret, Onslow, and Craven counties.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Duties:

Facilitate relationships andserve as a link between the company, parents, guardians, localagencies, and the community. Minimize the negative effects ofpsychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere withthe recipients daily living and personal development, providingsupportive counseling. Support the client in the development ofvarious skill-building activities, including daily and communityliving skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, andbehavior and anger management. Performing Case Management functionsof linking and arranging for services and referrals Working closelywith other clinical/professional staff to maintain communicationand providing feedback, standardizing procedures, and expeditingPerson-Centered Plan implementation. Ensuring that all initialreauthorizations for services occur in a timely fashion. Monitoringutilization of service to ensure that it is effective, appropriate,and within the limits set forth in both rule, Person Centered Plan,and the service authorization. Coordinating transition to anotherlevel/type of care for the client Leadership responsibilitiesinclude coaching, performance management, hiring and other relatedduties.

Job Requirements:

Graduate degree in Counseling or a relatedfield General working knowledge of the human services deliverysystem in North Carolina Minimum 2 years experience working withindividuals with mental and/or behavioral health issues thatincludes writing treatment plans, conducting effective grouptherapy, and providing mental health diagnoses. Valid driverslicense, auto insurance and reliable transportation Ability to passa drug screen and background check. Ability to lift between 20 and50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of performing CPR andtherapeutic holds. Prior experience using Electronic MedicalRecords (EMR) preferred. Prior supervisory experiencerequired.
