COMPENSATION

OVERVIEW

As aTherapist, you will have a primary role in the planning anddelivery of evidence based treatment to a cohort of adult and/oradolescent patients with behavioral health disorders. You willconduct therapeutic sessions with individuals, groups, andfamilies. You will use your understanding of different therapymodalities; motivational interviewing (MI); and the tenets ofcognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioraltherapy (DBT) to help patients progress towards their goals andlive out their best future.

You will work closely with counselors,case managers, and the entire treatment team in a supportive,team-based approach that models collaborative, solution-basedproblem solving, and authentic communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-socialassessments with newly admitted patientsAssess and document risk ofharm to self or othersDevelop a treatment plan withpatient-specific goals, interventions, and timeframesCollaboratewith treatment team to plan appropriate aftercareConduct individualtherapy sessions with patientsLead process groups on a range oftopics related to addiction, recovery, and wellbeingFacilitatefamily sessionsDevelop and lead specialty groups or sessions uniqueto your interests and expertiseLeverage de-escalation skills toensure patient safety and reduce AMA riskMaintain and promotehealthy boundariesPromote and protect each patients independence,privacy, dignity, and emotional and physical well beingCompleteprogress notes for individual, group, and family sessionsUpdatetreatment plans to reflect patient progress and challengesCaptureany safety concerns and interventions or referralsinitiatedDocument all clinical assessments as requiredLearn andfollow company-established policies and proceduresRemain currentwith all required trainings and certificationsReceive biweeklysupervisionMaintain a professional appearance and demeanorPracticerespectful, compassionate, supportive communication with patientsand colleaguesOther duties as assigned

EDUCATION,EXPERIENCE and

TRAINING

Masters degree requiredExperience inaddiction and mental healthExcellent written and verbalcommunication skills.

Desire to work collaboratively with diverseteam and patient population.
