Annual General Description/Primary Purpose:
The Department of Public Health is seeking a 12-month, non tenure earning Visiting Instructor in the CACREP-accredited, master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC). The teaching load consists of four courses in fall, four courses in spring, and two courses in summer. The selected candidate will teach graduate courses and perform program service. This is a full-time campus based CMHC faculty position for one year.

This position will report to the Chair of the Department of Public Health.

Required Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision, conferred no later than August 4, 2025 Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching Preferred Qualifications /
Skills:
Earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program Licensed or license-eligible as a mental health counselor in the state of Florida Experience in teaching a variety of counseling courses, mentoring students, and providing clinical supervision Interest in teaching Skills, Ethics in Counseling, Human Development, Theories in Counseling, Addictions, Group Counseling, etc. Interest in and capacity for leadership within the CMHC program (e.g., program assessment)
