INTERRELATIONSHIPS
Maintains open communication lines with Chief Executive Officer, Program Director, Clinical Director, center staff, attending clinicians and physicians, patients and families. Liaisons with community agencies, vendors, and payors of health services.

POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for providing supervision to case managers, providing initial and ongoing training, reviewing TCM records, and assigning cases.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS 1. EDUCATION
Master’s degree in related field and 3 years’ experience serving the targeted population or a bachelor’s degree and five years’ experience. 2.
EXPERIENCE
Must bring to the position a previous mental health targeted case management certification or have at least three years’ experience with mental health case management. Must complete an AHCA approved mental health targeted case management training within 3 months of initially supervising case managers. Must be certified by Medicaid within 3 months of hire. 3.

SKILLS/ABILITIES
Demonstrated ability to interview and assess clients, using appropriate assessment tools, and observe, record and report on an individual’s functioning ; to read and understand assessments, evaluations, observation, and use in developing treatment plan; to identify community resources and services for clients and coordinate provision of services; to establish effective working relationships with internal agency staff as well as with relevant community organizations; interact positively with consumers and their families, work as a team member, communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to maintain confidentiality, and to work independently under general supervision. 7.

SUPERVISION PROVIDED TO POSITION
Direct supervision is provided by the Program Director and/or Medical Director on as needed basis. 2.
PERFORMANCE/PROFICIENCY STANDARDS
Performance standards are integrated within the position responsibilities. The principle functions of the position identified shall not be considered as a complete description of the all the work requirements and expectations that may be inherent in the position.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION 1.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of community resources. 2. Individual and Group Supervision of all case managers (each case manager shall receive a minimum of 2 hours individual supervision and 2 hours group supervision monthly) and documentation of such supervision on the supervision log. 3. Linking and facilitating with appropriate services and resources identified in the service plan. 4. Monitoring service delivery to evaluate case managers’ ability to assist client in obtaining needed services in a timely and efficient manner and individualized to client needs. 5. Completing clinical and administrative paperwork thoroughly and within specified timeframe. 6. Demonstrates knowledge of the Medicaid manual and all updated revisions. 7. Completes ongoing chart audits to ensure compliance and quality assurance of services provided. 8. Demonstrates knowledge of DSM-V and
ICD-10 9.
Serving as a liaison with other organizations. 10. Attending community meetings 11. Provides new hire training to case managers and case management supervisors. 12. Follows Federal and State laws, Medicaid Guidelines, company protocol and reports abuse of clients’ rights, suspected child abuse and other crisis situations immediately to Executive Director or designee. Ability to comply with Equal Employment standards (EEO) policy and standards. 13. Must maintain training requirements of 40 hours annually.
