Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with mental health conditions
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as psychotherapy and dance therapy
- Assist in crisis management situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients
- Implement treatment plans and interventions under the guidance of licensed mental health professionals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment
- Provide gender issues counseling and support for individuals experiencing gender-related challenges
- Offer specialized care for individuals with PTSD, utilizing evidence-based interventions
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 codes to accurately document diagnoses and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience working in a mental health setting, providing direct care and support to individuals with mental health conditions
- Knowledge of crisis management techniques and ability to effectively respond to emergency situations
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as psychotherapy and dance therapy
- Understanding of special education principles and practices for individuals with mental health conditions
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all aspects of work
