Location:
Booker High School Position Summary:

Provide behavioral health prevention and early intervention to include school wide universal prevention and consultation to adolescents, adults and families in order to improve psychosocial functioning within academic setting.

Required Experience:

Previous experience working with Middle School and High School students and experience with diverse populations.

Education:

Undergraduate or Masters Degree in psychology/social work/human service/education

Working Hours:

Expected to be on campus between 7:00 AM and 3:00

PM Special Skills:

Excellent working knowledge of substance abuse issues and evidence-based treatments for substance abuse conditions. Ability to work through brief client contacts as well as to make quick and accurate screenings of mental and behavioral conditions. Should be comfortable with the pace of the academic setting, working with an interdisciplinary team, and have strong communication skills. Good knowledge of community resources. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software.
