In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals dealing with mental health challenges in outpatient settings. You will work closely with clients, assisting them in their mental heallth journey while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Your expertise in behavioral health and crisis management will be vital in promoting the well-being of our patients. Responsibilities Conduct cleint assessments to determine individual needs and develop appropriate care plans. Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals. Monitor client’s progress and behavior and report any significant changes or concerns to the clinical team. Facilitate therapeutic activities and group sessions to encourage patient engagement and participation. Provide crisis intervention and management as needed, ensuring patient safety at all times. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and any incidents following HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, counselors, and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care. Support families through child family counseling sessions when applicable, enhancing communication and understanding. Requirements Experience or education in behavioral health, with at least 2 years experience. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Familiarity with client assessment techniques and clinical counseling practices. Experience working with diverse populations including children, and families Strong crisis management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and team members. Ability to work flexible hours as required by the needs of the family and agency.
