Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the mental health needs of patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Provide counseling and therapy to patients using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
- Administer and monitor medication as prescribed by the psychiatrist or physician
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as social workers and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans
- Participate in clinical research studies related to mental health
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for mental health diagnoses
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
