Summary Under the agency’s direct supervision, Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) Enhancement Clinical Team Lead position will serve as the facilitator of the AOT program that targets adults with serious mental illness who have had difficulty engaging in ongoing treatment. This role includes advocacy, monitoring, and assistance in developing a plan to enhance the quality of life in areas of family, socialization, work/education, and healthcare to clients being served through AOT. This role assists clients and their families with housing, community resources and benefits as well as coordinate care among multiple service providers such as the AOT Court, mental health and/or substance use treatment teams, and health care providers as needed. The AOT Clinical Team Lead is a positive team player that promotes a culture of inclusion and participation. The Clinical Team Lead empowers the individual, families, and community circles of support using a strength-based, person-centered approach to support, educate, coach, inform, and provide resource referrals. The aim of the Clinical Team Lead is to facilitate engagement in obtaining safe, appropriate housing; formulating individual recovery plan goals; finding and developing opportunities for meaningful daily activities; assure adequate, appropriate treatment; use technology to build on the individuals’ strengths, abilities, and preferences; and finally to decrease multiple or extended days in crisis facilities, hospitals, jails or incidents of homelessness by securing necessary family and community supports. Requirements Master’s degree in psychology, addiction studies, marriage/family therapy, mental health counseling or a related field. Proven experience in counseling, case management and team leadership roles.
