Job Description

Clinician ProFamily, LLC Savannah, GA Clinician Job Description ProFamily is a mental health and social services agency with a heart to serve our community with care and compassion. We believe that as our agency grows, our responsibility to help those who are hurting also grows. Position is responsible for providing quality, CBT services to clients. General office duties associated with project management, operations support, internal controls, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient working environment. Position is a part-time or full-time, hourly contract position and reports to the COO. Provisionally diagnoses and evaluates mental and emotional disorders, including substance abuse and domestic violence through interviews and case histories from referral source Guides clients in the development of skills and strategies to cope with stressors and other needs through individual and/or family counseling Provides crisis interventions as needed Collaborates with community agencies and other provider when necessary for additional support or treatment Ensures services are provided based on ethical and professional standards of care Coordinates with DFCS in scheduling family meetings, gathering background information, communicating with clients and collateral contacts to write assessments based on family needs Participates in supervision hours in accordance with state licensure Completes and submits all required trainings in a timely fashion Clinician Requirements and Qualifications Independent self-starter capable of working with minimal direction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organizational and administrative skills Ability to handle a dynamic and diverse work load with multiple deadlines Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and computer skills Demonstrates analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information Must submit to and pass background check Master’s Degree in mental health field and be license eligible Minimum of two years of relevant experience in clinical services, human services, or mental health services required
