PURPOSE The social worker/counselor/mental health professional will provide clinical services to the range of agency clients with particular experience working with children, families and parents. The social worker will utilize varied treatment modalities and be willing to provide services in a variety of community locations including but not limited to the Dunwoody office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Conduct psycho-social, intake assessments Clinical counseling with children and families. Individual, conjoint, family, group psychotherapy and play therapy. Develop and conduct workshops and speaking engagements. Assist with crisis intervention and emergency assistance. Maintain a caseload of 12-15 clinical sessions/hours per week while working 21 total hours per week. Complete all clinical documentation within 72 hours of the session. Be flexible to serve at possible schools in community. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in social work or counseling. Fully Licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or license eligible in Georgia (APC, LMSW, AMFT). Experience working with families and children, special needs children, marital conflict and major mental illness. Experience conducting workshops and comfortable with public speaking assignments. Knowledgeable about Judaism and Jewish families. Play therapy experience and/or DBT intensive training preferred. Candidates who are selected for employment must successfully complete a pre-employment background screening as well as a pre-employment drug screening. Employment will be contingent upon the satisfactory completion of both the background check and the drug screening. Additionally, if applicable, tuberculosis testing (TB) and fingerprinting may also be required.
