Summary:

High Focus Centers in Johns Creek is seeking a dedicated Primary Therapist to join our team. This role is integral in providing therapeutic support to adolescents, focusing on co-occurring disorders. The therapist will work collaboratively to deliver individual and group therapy, conduct assessments, and engage with families for effective treatment planning.

Shift:

Monday – Friday

Pay:

$52,000 – $56,000 for

LAMFT/LMSW/LAPC

$60,000 for

LMFT/LCSW/LPC

Responsibilities:

Provide group therapy and group-based psycho-education.
Conduct individual therapy sessions with adolescents.
Facilitate family sessions to review treatment plans and assess progress.
Conduct initial level of care assessments.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including school personnel, therapists, and healthcare providers.
Assess risk and determine appropriate level of care with the treatment team.
Utilize electronic medical records and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
Demonstrate clinical flexibility in crisis management.
Ensure compliance with universal precautions, CPR, medication management, patient rights, and HIPAA protocols.

Required Skills:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
Georgia associate-license (LAPC, LMSW, or LAMFT) required; LPC, LMFT, or LCSW preferred.
Thorough knowledge of mental illnesses and adolescent co-occurring disorder treatments.
Ability to engage patients and caregivers effectively.
Experience with both adolescents and adults is preferred.
Experience in an outpatient mental health program is preferred.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and colleagues.
