Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Purpose:

Counselors will be required to do in-home and in-office intake sessions with clients. The counselors will work with adults and children to promote optimum mental health. May help clients deal with addictions, trauma and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; behavioral issues; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and issues associated with aging, and mental and emotional health.

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:

Complete assessments and biopsychosocials Complete and revise treatment plan goals, and re-assessments for clients Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge Evaluate clients physical or mental condition based on review of client information Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan Qualifications At least 1 year of experience Master’s Degree in a licensure-eligible program and pursuing an LPC, LCSW, LMFT or completion of an internship program in one of these disciplines. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to adapt to new technology and software quickly (previous experience with electronic health record, a plus) Efficient at using telehealth, when needed Working Days / Hours of work Must meet with team leader weekly. Counselor makes own schedule based on the availability of the client’s served and their needs. Community-based Flexible work schedule
