Mental Health Specialist Acadiana Hope and Wellness Center Crowley, LA 70526 Job description Currently looking to hire Mental Health Specialists (Bachelors Level) to provide counseling services. This position requires a degree from an accredited university or college in the following area(s): counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, rehabilitation services, family and consumer sciences, or human growth and development. The candidate for this position must have experience working with individuals with chronic mental illness and be familiar with implementing a treatment plan. This position also requires the candidate to be computer literate, have a professional attitude, have sound judgment and the ability to work well with others. The candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director.
Additional Requirements:
Accurately document all sessions within agency timelines Respond promptly to phone calls and emails Adhere to agency policy and procedures Must possess good communication skills Must participate in trainings, in-services and supervision Must have valid drivers license and insurance Must be able to pass drug screen, background check and TB test Must provide proof of education (transcripts and degree)
