In this role, you will provide essential services for substance abuse to individuals and groups, utilizing your expertise in clinical counseling and behavioral health. You will work collaboratively with clients to assess their needs and develop effective treatment plans that promote mental well-being and recovery. Duties Conduct thorough patient intake to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster a supportive environment for clients. Provide individual counseling services, focusing on behavioral therapy techniques. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality. Engage in case management activities, coordinating care with other healthcare providers and community resources. Deliver community care as needed, supporting clients in their natural environments. Document all interactions and treatment progress accurately in client records. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling. Skills Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and clinical counseling methodologies. Experience in conducting group therapy and individual group counseling sessions. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Strong background in behavioral therapy and mental health counseling practices. Ability to manage cases effectively, ensuring comprehensive support for clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
