•We are seeking upcoming graduates in Social Work and Counseling, as well as licensed professionals with LMSW and PLPC credentials, to join our dynamic team. This position offers supervision for LMSWs and PLPCs as they work toward full licensure. Additionally, we provide specialized DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) training through LSU’s Evidence-Based Training program, which will be available to
PLPC / LMSW
under supervision, seeking to further their clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical support and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups in various settings. Work with clients dealing with a wide range of issues, including mental health, substance abuse, trauma, and relationship challenges. For
LMSW/PLPC
professionals, engage in community-based work or DBT-focused work (depending on preference). Administer DBT techniques and interventions to clients, if assigned to a DBT-focused caseload. Participate in ongoing supervision with an experienced clinical supervisor to meet licensure requirements (LMSW/PLPC). Attend and actively participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and consultations. Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community organizations to coordinate care and services for clients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with organizational and legal requirements. Uphold ethical standards and practices, as well as comply with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
For upcoming graduates: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling. For
LMSW/PLPC
candidates: Must hold an LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) or PLPC (Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor) credential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care. Willingness to undergo DBT training through LSU Evidence-Based Training program. Experience or coursework in DBT and other therapeutic modalities is a plus. Ability to work with diverse populations in both community-based and clinical settings.
