GREENFIELD CBHC ESP
Counselor CSO is looking for Counselors to work inour CBHC (Community Behavioral Health Clinic) Emergency Services Program(ESP.) Our Emergency Service Programs (ESPs) offer clients behavioralhealth assessments, intervention and stabilization (for youth, familiesand adults,) 24-hour availability, and are a preferred alternative tohospital emergency departments. We provide daily assessment and briefcounseling, case management, nursing support and peer support. Thisposition will be responsible for the care and treatment of assignedprogram clients, as well as specific tasks necessary to programoperation.
You Will:
Provide supportive, therapeutic counseling andsafety for clients utilizing the program Assist clients with activitiesof daily living, including self-care, cooking, recreation, andmedication administration and documentation according to individualtreatment plans and, for overnight shifts, following program proceduresfor clients Function as an active member of the Treatment Team, on aday-to day basis, in the therapeutic setting including: Monitor respiteclients, including hourly bed checks and documentation, and providecloser observation as needed Answer and direct crisis telephone callsaccording to established procedures and as required for program supportPrepare daily evening meal for clients and staff if working the eveningshift Present cases to insurance companies and obtain prior approvals asassigned

Your Background:
Bachelors’ Degree with 2 years ofexperience working with similar populations High School Diploma and/orAssociate’s degree may be substituted for 5 years of experience Validdriver’s license and vehicle We also seek applicants who embody CSO’svalues by being: Positive
