Job Description

Clinician – Part Time Description We are seeking a dedicated andcompassionate part-time Clinician to join our GRIT team, a residentialprogram providing structured, person-centered counseling andrecovery-oriented services. This role focuses on supporting individuals(18+) with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. TheClinician will work collaboratively with our skilled multidisciplinaryteam to help residents build the framework for long-term recovery anddevelop aftercare plans for a successful transition back into thecommunity. The Clinician will be responsible for providing floatingcoverage to all GRIT programs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct individualtherapy sessions with residents to address co-occurring mental healthand substance use challenges. Facilitate one clinical group per week,fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Collaboratewith the GRIT treatment team, which includes licensed clinicians, casemanagers, prescribers, and recovery staff, to create individualizedrecovery plans. Support residents in their journey toward recovery,helping them build resilience, perseverance, and confidence. Provideinput on aftercare planning to ensure successful communityreintegration. Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation inaccordance with program guidelines.

Requirements Must have a bachelor’s or master’sdegree in social work, mental health, psychology or a related field.

LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC1

preferred Must be able to pass and obtaincertifications in CPR and First Aid. Strong understanding oftrauma-informed care, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented treatmentapproaches. Ability to work effectively both independently and as partof a collaborative team. Excellent communication and organizationalskills. Valid Driver’s license, sufficient automobile insurance,acceptable driving record, and a safe reliable vehicle during workinghours.
