This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about providing mental health support in a flexible and innovative environment. The LMHC will facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals dealing with various mental health challenges, including grief, addiction, and outpatient care. Interest in working with adolescents a plus. We can schedule groups around your availability. You can come into the office in Natick, but it’s not required Duties Conduct virtual group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for participants. Utilize evidence-based practices in psychotherapy and addiction counseling to guide discussions and interventions. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy. Document session notes accurately, adhering to coding standards for mental health services. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide comprehensive care. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling. Skills Strong understanding of mental health counseling principles, particularly in outpatient settings. Experience in grief counseling and addiction counseling is highly desirable. Familiarity with hospital settings and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team. Proficient in coding for mental health services and maintaining accurate documentation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients during telehealth sessions. Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all group members.
