As a Licensed Clinical Therapist / Independent LicensedTherapist, you will treat a wide variety of mental healthconditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patientpopulation. You will provide patients with behavioral and mentalhealth treatments, including individual and group therapy,medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.
PositionHighlights & Primary Responsibilities:
- Form excellentprovider-patient alliances and coordinate care with externalproviders
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations
- Screen andassess patients for common mental health and substance abusedisorders
- Provide mental health counseling services toindividuals, families, and/or couples
- Provide treatment for avariety of mental health conditions using treatment approachesincluding cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioraltherapy, and other evidence-based methods
- Maintain accurate andup-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinicaldocumentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirementsYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in anenvironment that will challenge you and give you clear direction onwhat it takes to succeed in your role as well as providedevelopment for other roles you may be interested in.
RequiredQualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or arelated counseling field
- Clear, active and unrestricted license(LMSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of
Michigan PreferredQualifications:
- 2 years professional social work / clinicalexperience post Master’s degree
- Experience providing directpsychotherapy services to individuals and families
- Experiencewith children and adolescents
- Experience working with computersfor professional communication and medical documentation – Excel,Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
