Eliot is seeking dedicated Mental Health Consultants to join our Early Intervention (EI) program to support children from birth to three years of age with developmental delays or disabilities in the Everett, Malden, and Medford area.
Our multidisciplinary team delivers community-based therapeutic interventions using a coaching model with parents and caregivers.
As a Mental Health Consultant, you will participate in early assessment methods such as classroom observations, standardized tools, and family meetings. We aim to facilitate the implementation of strategies that foster improved social-emotional development.
Responsibilities:
Provide mental health assessments, treatment, and care coordination for children, adults, and families, ensuring compliance with agency policies and all regulatory standards
Conduct social-emotional observations and assessments in childcare settings, and develop behavior support plans based on findings
Offer consultation and support to childcare staff and parents/guardians, including interpretation of assessment tools and delivery of feedback
Participate in and/or facilitate interdisciplinary care planning meetings to ensure coordinated service delivery
Attend required trainings and supervision sessions to maintain quality standards and implement supervisory guidance
Qualifications:
Requires an Master’s degree in Psychology or related field
3 years experience providing mental health services to children and families
Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
Licensed Clinician preferred
Schedule:
Monday
- Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm Annual Salary
$55,000 - $60,000 USD
