Great outcomes start with great people and Armor has an excitingopportunity for a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to joinour team at Cumberland County Jail in Portland, ME.Responsibilities Provide a wide range of psychosocial assessmentsand preliminary diagnostic impression, counseling therapy, crisisintervention, and/or case management services to patients in acorrectional facility as part of an established multidisciplinarytreatment team and behavioral health program Collect supportinginformation about patients through interview, case history,psychological tests, and/or observational techniques Evaluate datato identify causes of problems and determine proper therapeuticapproach or referral to other specialists Provide crisis managementcounseling, and/or short term therapy to patients as appropriatePrepare treatment and follow-up care programs Provide therapeuticcrisis intervention and emergency services as required Demonstrateknowledge of DSM-5 criteria and appropriate intervention for eachentity Consult with other behavioral health practitioners andrelated staff, as appropriate, in the performance of therapeuticand/or casework Qualifications Masters Degree in Social Work orrelated field Current state Mental Health Professional licenseCurrent CPR certification Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2clearance to include background check and drug screen Armor Healthis committed to providing equal employment opportunity for allqualified employees and applicants.
