Description:
This position is responsible for providing clinical support within the Lincoln County Detention Facility. This position facilitates clinical groups with the inmates focusing on substance use and brain health, teaching coping skills, decision making skills, anger management and others. The Clinician is responsible for completing assessments for all participants referred to the Pretrial Diversion and Re-Entry services.
Position Requirements:
North Carolina Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) Preferred 2 years’ experience working with Brain/Mental Health Preferred previous or current law enforcement experience. Must be able to pass a background check performed by Lincoln County and Catawba Valley healthcare Must have valid Driver’s License and auto insurance Must have a good driving record Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
