Substance Use Counselor Carolina Services of North Carolina, LLC 222 North Lafayette Street, Shelby, NC 28150
Summary of Duties:
Conducts outpatient groups two hours each. Monday and Wednesday, 9-11 AM required. Tuesday and Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday
- 2 sessions 9-11 AM & 11-1 PM Additional hours to complete group note, case management and assessments.
Rate of pay is based on level of certification or license and experience. We have some flexibility, 17 hours are required based on client scheduled and the remainder up to 32 hours is based on the clinicians availability.
Qualifications:
Certified in North Carolina with LCAS, CCS, and CADC and meets the training and current supervision requirements to provide services to DWI offenders as specified in 10A
NCAC 27G.3800.
This position is available to CADC interns and LCAS associate
Duties:
- Conducts group counseling in-person (average 10).
- Communicates with referral sources and agencies concerning the client.
- Presents cases for supervision as needed bi-weekly.
- Completes the official forms and documents the process in the client record.
- Conducts Intake Interviews and formulates Treatment Plans.
- Conducts educational presentations, group therapy and individual counseling as needed.
- Documents all client contacts and services in the client record as required.
- Serves on the Quality Assurance Committee.
- Assists with administrative tasks as may be assigned.
- Participate in clinical supervision as follows: CSAC Registrant
- Practicum (1:10) One hour for every 10 hours of work, After Practicum (1:40) 1 hour weekly) CSAC Intern or
LCAS/A 1
40 (1 Hour weekly and
CSAC/CCJP
Post-certification supervision contract is required. Qualified SA Professionals (CCAS, LCAS or CCS are exempt from formal supervision.)
