The Kellin Foundation is a nonprofit (501c3) organization that strengthens resilience among children, families, adults, and communities through trauma-informed behavioral health services focused on prevention, treatment and healing. The Kellin Foundation helps people of all ages to have earlier and easier access to a wide array of mental health and substance use services that they need to be safe and well. To extend that reach, the Kellin Foundation Hope Hub (our new large facility) uses a comprehensive approach to prevention and treatment that offers a place for people of all ages to access both mental health and additional integrated services provided by vital community partners— all under one roof. Position Overview:

This person will provide clinical services for students within Guilford County Schools as part of our partnership to ensure school-based mental health services. This role will include a primary location base within the school system (onsite at schools) as well as some hours onsite at the main Kellin Foundation office. The specific schedule will be co-created to meet staff and project needs. Duties and Responsibilities Direct Service (75%)

  • Deliver clinical services, including assessments, individual therapy, or group therapy as needed based on client demand, with the expectation 75% of time spent in direct service.
  • Collect project information / data on clinical outcomes consistent with the mission and requirements of the grant projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures for clinical care such as timely documentation, periodic chart monitoring/audits, recruitment strategies, and coordination of care.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team member with the agency as community partners, including Guilford County Schools and additional wraparound services providers. Other (25%)
  • Attend supervision, program and agency meetings related to role
  • Actively participate in agency events, trainings, and outreach, representing the agency consistent with the passion and mission of the organization
  • Conduct periodic community education and outreach as requested by community partners
  • Assist with staff development trainings within Guilford County Schools as well as parent engagement sessions periodically Qualifications
  • Mental health counselor, social worker, psychologist, or related clinical health field
  • Licensed (or provisionally licensed) in the state of North Carolina with experience working with a wide range of ages and presenting concerns.
  • Passion for the Kellin Foundation’s mission and ability to articulate its philosophy, values, practices to internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be flexible, dependable, and accountable to meet the needs of students across schools
  • Experience with families living in poverty is beneficial
  • Demonstrated interest in nonprofit work in the area of behavioral health, with a particular interest in trauma-informed care
  • Bilingual clinician is a strong preference but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to adjust to the diverse needs of clients and staff
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office package
  • Strong ability to multi-task on multi-component projects
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail, including timely notes and documentation
  • Must have current and active professional liability insurance at all times
Supervisory:

This position is supervised by the Clinical Director.

Full-time Rate:

Commensurate upon experience

Benefits package dependent on number of hours/employee status (i.e., part-time, full-time, etc.).

Additional Benefit :

Supervision provided for provisionally licensed clinical mental health counselors with signed agreement.

Travel:
