Duties Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide counseling services in an outpatient setting, utilizing techniques such as grief counseling, art therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement case management strategies to coordinate care and support for clients. Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate record-keeping and billing purposes. Offer direct support to clients during therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in counseling. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Qualifications Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Valid licensure or certification as required by state regulations. Experience in outpatient counseling preferred; familiarity with Christian counseling is a plus. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and HIPAA compliance is essential. Strong skills in case management and direct support techniques. Ability to apply various therapeutic approaches, including grief counseling and art therapy.
