We currently have an opening for a full-time day treatment qualified professional to serve clients in Asheboro. (requires bachelor’s degree-see qualifications below). We have been making a difference in the lives of children/families in our area for over twenty years. We focus on providing individual attention and quality treatment in a culturally competent environment to enhance children/family outcomes. We are a CARF accredited, CABHA (Critical Access Behavioral Health Agency) serving Rockingham, Guilford, Randolph, Caswell, Stokes and surrounding counties.

Full-time Qualified Professional Qualifications:
Minimal requirement is a 4-year college degree in a human service field with either 2 years’ experience with population served or certification or license from governing board or 4-year degree in another field with 4 years of accumulated experience with population. Basic academic skills to teach skill building activities document and maintain required records for facility (i.e., daily attendance logs, mileage logs, MAR, etc.). Preference will be given to bilingual Spanish speaking candidates.
Job Summary:
Provides direct care, supportive counseling, and rehabilitative services for group of client’s mental illness as outlined on the Person-Centered Plan. Provides interventions that are strength-based. Focuses on promoting recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills and achievement of the highest level of functioning in the community. Duties must be performed according to YHS policies and standards dictated by State guidelines.
