Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion. Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services. Assesses the individual’s needs and provides appropriate support and referral. Provides short•and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis. Provides family education and family counseling. Completes clinical documentation as required. Facilitates recovery education courses. Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Performs other related duties assigned. Must have a valid driver license and be 18 years of age. Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and lift a minimum of 20 lbs. Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism. We are a Second-Chance Employer Must be able to pass a seven-year background check.
