Duties Provide one-on-one peer support to individuals in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. Facilitate group sessions that promote sharing, learning, and growth among peers. Assist clients in developing personalized recovery plans that align with their goals. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavior change. Offer crisis intervention and management support as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Collaborate with behavioral health professionals to create a comprehensive support system for clients. Advocate for clients within various systems, including healthcare, housing, and employment services. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
