Job Description

Mental Health Counselor Aspen Mental Health Therapy and Consulting, PLLC 14072 Elkin Highway 268, Ronda, NC 28670 Aspen Mental health is a private practice that provides treatment for a variety of mental health concerns. Aspen specializes in the treatment of trauma for all ages and child/adolescent behaviors. We are currently seeking a therapist (LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW) or associate to assist at our Ronda, NC location working primarily in person with some tele-health. Our new Mocksville office may also be of interest to the right candidate. The clinician we are looking is a self-starter, is able to work independently, but is also able to collaborate with colleagues on clinical cases. The clinician should be comfortable working in a small, family-oriented environment within a rural community. We are looking for a clinician that is trained or willing to obtain training in evidenced based models such as EMDR or IFS within 6 months of hire. The clinician must be willing to work with children and teens. The ability to provide Christian counseling or come from a Christian perspective when requested by a client is a skill that is highly desired. We are also seeking a clinician who enjoys the private practice environment, and can see themselves working in private practice for many years. Clinician will be responsible for clinical diagnosis and will be expected to utilize appropriate assessment measures in formulating a diagnosis. Therapist will be responsible for the completion of intakes, treatment plans, and clinical treatment. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned or new therapist that is committed to providing excellent clinical treatment for clients and has a desire for professional growth.
