Our BrandsResponsibilities:

We are seeking a Virginia Behavioral Health fullyLicensed Therapist for a mostly REMOTE role to support our clinicalneeds throughout the state of Virginia and our local group homeneeds. The purpose of this position is to provide high-qualitytherapeutic services to clients, ensuring their mental health andwell-being. The Therapist III is responsible for conductingassessments, developing and implementing individualized treatmentplans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating withinternal and external professionals. Additionally, this roleincludes providing clinical supervision for licensure to eligiblestaff, supporting their professional development and ensuringcompliance with licensing requirements. The Therapist III alsoparticipates in outreach and marketing efforts to promote servicesand attract new referrals, contributing to the overall mission ofdelivering comprehensive mental health care.

  • Performcomprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine individuals’needs and appropriate interventions.
  • Utilize standardizedassessment tools and techniques to gather relevant information.
  • Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration withindividuals, families, and the treatment team.
  • Set measurablegoals and objectives tailored to individuals’ needs.
  • Delivertherapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family therapysessions.
  • Implement therapeutic techniques to address variousmental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, andbehavioral disorders.
  • Provide consistent and comprehensiveservices to all assigned individuals on your caseload.
  • Ensureregular contact and follow-up with individuals to monitor progressand adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Accurately document allclient interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and otherrequired documentation within established timeframes per companypolicy.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizationalstandards.
  • Work closely with other professionals as amultidisciplinary treatment team, to provide holistic care.
  • Participate in regular treatment team meetings to discuss progressand treatment strategies of individuals served.
  • Provide immediatesupport and intervention during crisis situations.
  • Develop safetyplans and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote mental health services andattract new clients.
  • Connect individuals and families withadditional resources and support services as needed.
  • Stay currentwith best practices, new treatment modalities, and emerging trendsin mental health therapy.
  • Participate in ongoing training,workshops, and professional development opportunities.
  • Provideclinical supervision for licensure to eligible staff, supportingtheir professional development and ensuring compliance withlicensing requirements.
  • As a licensed clinician working forHealth Connect America your NPI number will be used to bill forservices performed by those being supervised by you.
  • As alicensed clinician you will be responsible for ensuring that yourcredentials remain current, you comply with all trainingrequirements, and you are adequately supervising your staff.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and otherstakeholders to address inquiries, disseminate information, andresolve complaints or concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Must hold acurrent professional license in state where services are providedincluding LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
  • Must hold the required in-statecredentials to supervise candidates for in-state licensure.
