Job Summary About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Counselor II to join our collaborative care team in Dover, NH. In this role, you’ll provide direct clinical services—including individual, family, and group therapy—to patients experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. You’ll also facilitate psychosocial assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patients’ overall well-being. Schedule:

Monday-Friday with evening coverage until 6:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays (flexibility available)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments Develop, document, and implement patient-centered treatment plans Offer crisis intervention and short-term stabilization support Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to coordinate care and support patients in accessing resources Participate in case consultations, clinical team meetings, and quality initiatives

Qualifications Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field of study. Active New Hampshire licensure as one of the following: LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience Strong knowledge of the DSM and experience with evidence-based therapy modalities Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations Experience navigating systems of care and advocating for client needs Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Additional Job Details (if applicable) Remote Type Onsite Work Location 15 Old Rollinsford Road Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Employee Type Regular Work Shift Day (United States of America)
