Key Responsibilities:

Provide onsite support to families while their loved one is being assessed, educate them as to what expect in an acute care setting Reduce the stress of families coping with a mentally ill loved one, especially during times of crisis when their loved one is being psychiatrically screened Link the family with on-going recovery orientated family support services that can teach them the necessary skills that can help reduce the stress in the family Provide follow-up calls to families to encourage the use of IFSS services Participate in innovative initiatives designed to engage communities in care and treatment Collaborate with Acenda team members to implement evidence-based recovery services

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline Excellent written and verbal communication skills to motivate and engage your team as well as be an effective leader across the agency Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record Professionalism and a commitment to excellence in care
