Substance Abuse Group Facilitator Revolution Recovery 1035 North Black Horse Pike, Williamstown, NJ 08094 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Facilitator to lead and support group sessions in a behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of behavioral health principles. This role involves facilitating discussions, providing guidance, and ensuring a safe environment for participants to share their experiences and challenges. The Group Facilitator will work collaboratively with other professionals to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans. Duties Facilitate group therapy sessions, encouraging participation and engagement among members. Conduct patient assessments to identify individual needs and goals. Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to support group members. Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Maintain accurate documentation of group activities and patient progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Foster a supportive environment that promotes healing and personal growth among group members. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field Experience in behavioral health settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and patient assessment techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
