The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and regulations within the behavioral health sector. This position is essential for supporting our mission to provide high-quality care and services to children and families. The Licensing Associate will work collaboratively with various departments to facilitate the licensing process and maintain up-to-date records. Duties Review and process licensing applications for behavioral health services, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. Maintain comprehensive records of licensed providers, including updates on certifications and renewals. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure compliance with state regulations regarding behavioral health practices. Conduct research on licensing requirements and best practices within the field of behavioral health. Assist in developing training materials related to licensing procedures for staff members. Support the implementation of policies that promote adherence to licensing standards across the organization. Engage in ongoing communication with regulatory agencies to stay informed about changes in licensing laws and requirements. Experience A background in cognitive behavioral therapy or behavioral therapy is preferred, with experience working with children being a significant advantage. Familiarity with research methodologies related to behavioral health practices is beneficial. Knowledge of coding practices relevant to behavioral health services is a plus. Experience in art therapy or group therapy settings, particularly with pediatric populations, will be considered an asset. Understanding of PTSD care principles and their application in therapeutic settings is desirable.
