We aren’t your typical agency- we provide the support of a powerhouse clinical team, electronic billing for accurate and on time payments, along with the flexibility and stability you are looking for. •We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor to join our team working with school aged children in helping bridge the gap between student’s personal lives and their academic success. Social Workers and Mental Health Counselors play pivotal roles in supporting the emotional and intellectual development of children, providing guidance and support throughout their school career. In this role, you will: Address behavioral concerns and help develop strategies for self-regulation and positive behavior Work with parents/guardians to support the student’s success at home and in school Work with the student’s school teachers/counselors/administration to create a supportive environment contusive to learning Periodically attend

meetings as needed

Requirements:

Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field Licensed or license-eligible (LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent ) Must have previous experience working with school aged children in a school or home setting Must live on LI in either Nassau or Suffolk County (Eastern Queens may be considered) This is a 1099 position that provides more upfront pay, ability expense job related costs, and the flexibility of the schedule you want.
