Mental Health Professional 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Rochester, PA 15074 • Hybrid work The Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit (BVIU) serves as the administrative hub for a network of educational services designed to support the school districts within Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The BVIU plays a vital role in providing innovative educational resources and services that enhance student learning and achievement. The BVIU is seeking candidates to fill a Mental Health Professional position , which will offer and provide therapy and support to clients of the Hopeful Minds Wellness Center. This professional will be responsible for managing a caseload, providing evidence-based care, and completing all documentation in a timely manner. https://jobs.leadline.io/jobs/67628 The Mental Health Professional will: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, including biopsychosocial history, risk factors, and presenting concerns. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs, goals, and evidence-based practices. Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients using appropriate therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care). Respond to mental health crises and provide immediate support, de-escalation, and safety planning, including appropriate referrals. Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, social workers, schools, and other stakeholders to coordinate care and support client goals. Attend staff meetings, group supervision, and individual supervision. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with ethical and legal standards. Maintain ethical standards of practice and follow all local, state, and federal laws. Maintain good standing with state licensing board if applicable as well as good standing with insurance credentialing panels. Perform other related duties as directed by the Director of Special Education and/or the Executive Director of the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit.

Qualifications Include:

Graduate degree from an accredited college or university in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum or has an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE) or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). At least 2 years of clinical experience working with children and youth in mental health programs preferred. Licensed LPC, MFT, or LCSW preferred. Effective communication and customer service skills required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance in a healthcare setting, required. Valid Driver’s License required. Ability to provide clearances as required by the State Departments in

1. Act 114: Federal Criminal History Report per Act 114 of 2006 2. Act 151: Child Abuse History Clearance per Act 151 of 1994 3. Act 34: PA Criminal Record Check per Section 111 of the PA School Code Ability to provide: 1. Pre-Employment medical examination and TB Test per Section 111 of the PA School Code 2. Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification per Act 24 of 2011
