Lead Counselor – School Based Position Available In Cumberland, Pennsylvania

General Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing life space management, restorative practices, and counseling to adolescents as well as performing a number of duties to develop, coordinate, instruct, and supervise program activities for the Center Day Treatment Program Plans and leads all group activities for assigned group Provides recommendation to supervisor concerning client care situations as required or needed Leads individual and/or group programming sessions, including life-space counseling School-Based 9 month position Childline and DHS FBI clearance results are required prior to beginning employment.

Education/Training:

A High School diploma or equivalent required. BS or BA in human services preferred. Successful completion of Pennsylvania DHS Medication Administration course. Behavior Certified Training (Functional Behavioral Analysis Training, Behavioral Intervention Plan Training), Restorative Practices Training within first year of employment or equivalent required.

Experience:

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in behavioral health, addictions treatment and/or juvenile justice required.
