As a Licensed ClinicalTherapist / Independent Licensed Therapist, you will treat a widevariety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of ourdiverse patient population. You will provide patients withbehavioral and mental health treatments, including individual andgroup therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatientprograms. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Formexcellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care withexternal providers
  • Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations andprovide ongoing medication management
  • Participate in enrichingthe training experience of our graduate students
  • Screen andassess patients for common mental health and substance abusedisorders
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental healthconditions using treatment approaches including cognitivebehavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and otherevidence-based methods
  • Systematically track treatment responseand monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatmentside effects or complications
  • Opportunities to represent thepractice in community presentations and lectures
  • Maintainaccurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) andclinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatoryrequirements You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performancein an environment that will challenge you and give you cleardirection on what it takes to succeed in your role as well asprovide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in psychology, socialwork, or a related counseling field
  • Clear, active andunrestricted license (LPC or LMFT) in the state of practice
  • Enrolled or eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicareprogram
  • 5 years professional social work / clinical experiencepost Master’s degree
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experienceproviding direct and group psychotherapy services to children,adolescents, adults, and families
  • Experience working withcomputers for professional communication and medical documentation- Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
  • Proven ability towork both independently and collaboratively with equaleffectiveness
  • All employees working remotely will be required toadhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy The salary rangefor this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-timeemployment.

Pay is based on several factors including but notlimited to local labor markets, education, work experience,certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimumwage laws as applicable.
