High Focus Centers, a trusted provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment in southeastern Pennsylvania, offers comprehensive, individualized care through its specialized programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. We serve both adults and adolescents, with a focus on mental health, eating disorders, and co-occurring disorders.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Adult Counselor to join our Lansdale team. This role focuses on delivering individual therapy to adult clients in an outpatient setting. ition Overview
The Adult Counselor is responsible for:
Providing individual outpatient therapy to adult clients
Conducting clinical assessments and developing person-centered treatment plans
Collaborating with family members, medical providers, and referral sources as appropriate
Monitoring behavioral and emotional needs and adjusting treatment as necessary
Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
Participating in clinical meetings and contributing to care coordination
Supporting program goals and additional clinical duties as needed
Key Competencies
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Expertise in adult mental health and co-occurring substance use or eating disorders
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Ability to build rapport and engage adults in meaningful therapeutic work
Clear and professional communication with clients, families, and support networks
Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations
Commitment to ethical standards and best practices in behavioral healthcare
Qualifications

Required:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field with the completion of a clinical based internship.

Preferred:

Active clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania
Experience providing therapy to adults in outpatient behavioral health settings
Schedule & Work Environment
Hybrid model: opportunity to provide therapy both in-person and via telehealth
Part-time role with flexible scheduling options
Evening and/or weekend availability preferred, based on client needs
