Counseling Certification Behavioral health Full Job Description Join Ujima Life Services Ujima Life Services is seeking a passionate and purpose-driven counselor to join our team. Located in Cheltenham Village, PA, we are a Black-owned practice dedicated to providing culturally responsive, affordable, and holistic mental health care—integrating mind, body, and spirit to support the healing journey of our community.
Position Options:
Hybrid Part-Time:
10 clients/week
Full-Time:
20-25 clients/week
Who We’re Looking For:
A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania or eligibility for the Licensed Associate Counselor (LAPC) credential, recent graduates A strong alignment with our mission of collective wellness, cultural healing, and accessibility Openness to professional development in holistic care—including training as a health coach or certified integrated mental health professional Experience with or interest in providing virtual therapy and facilitating in-person groups Experience with group counseling is a plus

Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, including those with PTSD. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and support. Engage in crisis intervention as needed, offering support to clients in distress.
