Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician•Early Intervention (Full Time) Sign on Bonus $2500 Are you interested in supporting early parent-child interactions?

POSITION SUMMARY:
Early Intervention is a perfect opportunity to use your clinical skills in support of Infant Early Childhood Mental Health with a focus on attachments and trauma-informed care. Works directly with families and young children (0-3) within natural environments in support of overall mental health and positive relationships, and contributes to team by providing insights into family systems and parenting. Plans and implements the delivery of Early Intervention services to eligible children and their families from intake through transition according to RI Operational Standards and Individual Family Service Plans. Services are provided in collaboration with families and other team members in a coaching model that reflect the priorities of the family in a manner that is developmentally appropriate. Coaching incorporates goals and strategies within daily home routines. Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team in promoting excellence in the field and adhering to agency professional standards of care in order to continuously improve the quality-of service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed by the
Board of Social Work Examiners:
Rhode Island Department of Health ; or
Board of Psychology:
Rhode Island Department of Health; or
Board of Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists:
Rhode Island Department of Health Minimum 1-3 years direct service experience with young children with special needs and their families.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide services in family homes or the community. Provide coaching and education on various topics related to child development and parent-child interactions. Establish and maintain professional relationships. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Reliable transportation is necessary.
