$2,500 Position Summary Epworth Children’s Home is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Counselor to join our growing Epworth Center for Counseling in the Lowcountry region. This position plays a critical role in providing individual and group counseling, conducting assessments, and supporting clients in a healing, faith-informed environment. The Licensed Counselor will work under the leadership of the Center’s Director and contribute to a team committed to providing high-quality, culturally informed mental health care for children, youth, and families. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling services tailored to meet the unique needs of clients. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment assessments. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training. Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools, and other service providers. Engage in clinical supervision and support the overall mission of the Epworth Center for Counseling. Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and professional standards. Qualifications Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field. Current licensure in South Carolina required (LPC, LISW, LMFT). Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting preferred. Experience in conducting clinical assessments and developing treatment plans. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic communication platforms. Must be able to pass all required background checks (drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry).
