ADSAP/Drug Court Coordinator ALPHA Behavioral Health Center Chesterfield, SC 29709 Job description Are you looking for the opportunity for engaging work and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people in South Carolina? ALPHA Behavioral Health Center – in accessible outpatient locations in the counties of Kershaw, Lee, and Chesterfield in South Carolina — provides quality, accredited services to individuals and their families to reduce problems experienced related to substance use disorders, behavioral health needs, and/or co-occurring disorders. Due to state and federal funding, ALPHA Center is able to serve persons without an ability to pay for their care. ADSAP/Drug Court Coordinator – Chesterfield Office Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in behavioral science, human services, or a related field and (prefer) two or more years of experience working with community-based or rehabilitative programs. Prefer LPC, LMSW or LISW license and strong case management background. Certification or licensure as an Addiction Counselor by SC LLR preferred. Must be available to work 8:30 – 5:00 weekdays, but seeking flexibility in scheduling for possible evening services to increase accessibility to consumers who work during the day. The SC Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP) is a mandatory statewide education and treatment program designed to lower risk for individuals who are convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and individuals whose licenses are suspended through the state’s Administrative License Revocation. The ADSAP Lead Coordinator will orient referred individuals to the program and conduct an assessment to determine the focus of services and the level of care to best meet the individual’s needs. You will maintain a caseload and provide a full array of direct clinical services to clients referred, utilizing a variety of therapeutic and best practice approaches, following all center, agency, and state guidelines for quality assurance.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct client intake, orientation, assessments, drug testing, and facilitate psycho-educational groups. Provide for referrals to appropriate levels of treatment. Maintain electronic health records in accordance with Agency and DAODAS policies. Participate in a monthly clinical supervision, and document all supervision activities. Proudly represent the agency as program liaison with other health and human services personnel as required for continuity of services. Collaborate with co-workers in assuring safety of all clients. Grow your knowledge of and skills with best practices for clients.
