Job Responsibilities
With our Agency’s mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
Provides an array of clinical services to promote recovery, stabilization, and independence based on the patient’s Plan of Care for DSS involved children and their families including diagnostic assessments for placement and Protocol Assessment purposes. Documentation is reflective of the quality care expected of this position to include Collaborative Documentation and timely record keeping. Provides consultation to DSS to include sharing past episodes of care with SCDMH, collaborates with DSS case workers to develop and communicate clinical recommendations and attends Interagency System of Caring for Emotionally Disturbed Children (ISEDC) staffing as scheduled. Collaborate with families in working through DSS treatment plans outlined including participating in Family Team Meetings. Shall comply with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health Compliance Plan and all legal responsibilities and requirements in performing their job duties. Completes annual compliance/ethics training and submits conflict of interest and acknowledgment form. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program. Preferred Qualifications
