Job Description
Licensed Therapist for PSB-focused Counseling Bright Side Counseling 2277 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia, SC 29169 Bright Side Counseling is expanding its team and seeking a motivated licensed therapist to join our growing clinical practice with a specialized focus on helping men recover from Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB) . This role begins part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. You’ll work directly under the clinical supervision of Dr. Ken Taylor, LPC/S, CSAT , an experienced leader in the field of behavioral addictions and trauma recovery. No experience in PSB needed, just a desire to make a difference in this underserved population.
Position Highlights:
- Specialize in PSB treatment with a clear recovery framework
- Receive direct clinical supervision (LPCA) and mentorship (fully-licensed) from a certified sex addiction therapist
- Engage with effective group facilitation and innovative clinical tools
- Work in a supportive, collaborative environment with a diverse range of clinical expertise
- Have freedom with scheduling and opportunities for long-term growth within the practice
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Licensed LPC-A in SC or
- Fully-licensed therapy provider (LISW-CP, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist) in SC
- Interest or background in behavioral addictions, trauma, or men’s issues
- Willingness to learn a structured approach to PSB recovery
- Strong ethical standards, excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
