Hiring Department The Thompson Center for Autism andNeurodevelopmental Disorders and Department of Psychiatry in theSchool of Medicine Job Description The Thompson Center for Autismand Neurodevelopment and the Department of Psychiatry at theUniversity of Missouri-Columbia are seeking a Child and AdolescentPsychiatrist to join our growing team.

Position Highlights:

• Serving children with autism spectrum disorders and otherneurodevelopmental conditions
• Multi-disciplinary setting with 7 physicians, 3 APPs, 6Psychologists and 9 Therapists
• Fully integrated with MU’s academic training and researchmissions About the Thompson Center The Thompson Center for Autism &Neurodevelopment is a nationally recognized, interdisciplinarycenter with experts across 15+ clinical subspecialties includingpediatrics, psychiatry, psychology, neurology, speech-languagepathology, occupational therapy, applied behavioral analysis,genetics, and social work.

We’re currently undergoing an excitingexpansion including:

• Brand-new 74,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-artfacility
• Features an adaptive playground, therapy gym, training caf
• and group therapy rooms
• 1st Intensive Outpatient program in the state
• Ability to double our volumes over the next few years to 30,000visits
