The ideal candidate is trauma-informed , recovery oriented, and passionate about helping women rebuild their live. Duties . Provide individual and group counseling to residents in a transitional housing settin . Conduct intake assessments and develop personal or support plans . Monitor resident progress and document session, goal, and behavioral changes . Support residents dealing with trauma, addiction, homelessness, or domestic violence recovery . Assist with crisis intervention an emotional support as needed . Collaborate with staff, case managers, and external service providers . Educate residents on coping skill, boundaries, self-care, and healthy relationships . Help create a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment . Participate in team meetings and provide professional insight on resident care . Maintain strict confidentiality and follow ethical standards and program policies Experience 1-3 years of counseling experience, preferably in a transitional housing, addiction recover, mental health, or domestic violence setting Experience working with women in crisis, and trauma survivor Familiarity with trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or recovery -based approaches Experience maintaining confidential client records and writing case notes
