This includes clinical assessment, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, outreach programming, supervision of master’s level interns and consultation services for the campus community.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide short-term individual and group to undergraduate and graduate students. Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention, including after-hours on-call rotation support as needed. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Deliver campus outreach and education programs focused on mental health awareness, prevention, and wellness. Consult with faculty, staff, and student organizations regarding student concerns and mental health topics. Participate in weekly clinical team meetings, supervision, and professional development activities. Engage in continual professional development and training to remain current on best practices. Provide weekly supervision to masters-level interns, if applicable.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program. Licensed in the state of Tennessee (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist). At least 2-3 years of post-master’s clinical experience, preferably with college-aged populations. Demonstrated experience working with individuals from diverse racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Strong skills in risk assessment, diagnosis, and clinical intervention.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a university or college counseling center setting. Bilingual or multilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply. Specialized training in trauma-informed care, substance use, eating disorders, or LGBTQIA+ mental health. Experience facilitating psychoeducational workshops and support groups.
